Giulio Cappellini is a Milanese architect who has been working since 1979 with an energetic spirit and refreshing goals. Through the years his work transformed into that of a designer’s, offering a personal approach to contemporary design. He has successfully established both his brand and his name and has worked as the art director for other key design brands. His most important project, the “company”, transformed Cappellini into one of the biggest trend-setters worldwide. His lectures at the Milan Architecture University always generate great interest from Montreal to Valencia.
Cappellini creations are hosted in museums throughout the world. Some are in Victoria & Albert Museum and Tate Modern Gallery in London, some in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, or in the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
The “Collezione” line includes products made in cooperation with innovative contemporary designers and includes iconic pieces, such as the S Chair by Tom Dixon, and the Knotted Chair by Marcel Wanders. It also includes products for everyday use, such as Superoblong sofas and the Low Pad chair by Jasper Morrison.
The “Sistemi” is one of the most successful lines, presenting a wide range of solutions for residential and office projects, with units and storage systems (free-standing vertical, recessed, wall-mounted), cupboards, bookshelves and shelving systems.
